Once the assessment is complete, I prepare the area by clearing away any obstacles and protecting nearby plants and fixtures. This preparation ensures that the cleaning process is both effective and safe for your property.
High-Pressure Cleaning Technique
My primary cleaning method involves using high-pressure water jets to remove dirt, grime and stains from the surface. I employ advanced pressure washing equipment that delivers powerful yet controlled water streams, ensuring a deep clean without damaging the underlying material. For driveways, patios and decks, I adjust the pressure settings according to the specific surface to achieve optimal results. In addition to water pressure, I utilise specialised detergents that break down stubborn stains and organic growth, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the cleaning process.
Post-Cleaning Inspection and Finishing Touches
After the high-pressure cleaning is complete, I conduct a post-cleaning inspection to ensure that all areas have been thoroughly cleaned and meet our high standards. Any remaining spots or stains are re-treated, and I make sure that the surface is free of detergent residue. I return once the area is completely dry and brush in kiln dried sand into any joints where this is required, for example monoblock driveways. All areas are then sprayed with a biocide treatment for additional protection and longevity. This final step adds a layer of protection to the surface against future dirt and grime build-up.
